Naples Security Solutions Discusses the Latest Phishing Scam

 

You may receive an email looks like it’s directly from Apple, but beware, it’s likely from someone trying to steal your information. The email says it’s from Apple and looks legit, even featuring the Apple logo. It claims someone has gotten into your personal Apple account.

“When they’re asking for a password or a social security number, that would be the first red flag,” said Michael Perl of Naples Security Solutions. “They’re trying to elicit information that is sensitive,” he explained. Apple is aware of the scam. If you get an email like this, don’t answer it.
