Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License Training
NSS conducts industry leading training to allow individuals to apply for the Concealed Weapon or Firearm License covered under F.S. 790.6. Training is conducted by nationally certified and credentialed instructors who have served as firearm’s instructors throughout their respective law enforcement careers. Our curriculum, which exceeds statutory requirements, provides students with the knowledge and practical training necessary to handle and operate a firearm safely and proficiently.
TASER Training
Training and certification topics covered include an overview of TASER conducted electrical weapons (CEWs) and the uses and application of this device.

Refuse to Be a Victim Seminar
Safety experts agree the single most important step toward ensuring your personal safety is making the conscious decision to refuse to be a victim. You stand a much better chance of preventing a criminal attack if you develop a safety plan before you need it. We will conduct a hands on, thought provoking seminar which teaches easy to understand methods you can use to increase awareness, avoid dangerous situations and prevent criminal confrontations. We will help participants better understand criminal thinking and provide tips on maximizing home, automobile, telephone, technological, and personal security. Participants will get the tools needed to develop a personal safety strategy.

Home Firearm Safety Course
This course teaches fundamentals for safe gun handling. Students are taught safe gun handling; primary causes of firearm accidents; firearm parts; ammunition components; cleaning; care; and safe storage of firearms in the home.
Personal Protection In The Home Course
Students learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development.
Personal Protection Outside the Home Course
This course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed firearm for self-defense outside the home.
Customized Training and Skill Development
We will work with students at the range and focus on practical shooting exercises and continued firearms development, familiarization, and proficiency.
Defensive Tactics Training
Defensive tactics instructors teach practical, gross motor skill techniques, strikes and maneuvers. These proven techniques are designed to temporarily incapacitate an assailant giving you the time to escape the threat.
